The Empty Threats

"THE EMPTY THREATS take their captivating and charged live show on their first UK/EU tour on the back of the release of debut record, MONSTER TRUCK MONDAYS - out now via P.A.K. Records (AU) & Lil Chop Record Shop (UK). Monster Truck MOndays is a socially and politically fueled commentary of the band's experiences from the backend of lockdowns, touching on body autonomy rights, institutional abuse and personal growth & victories.

Since the release of the album in July 2023, EMPTIES have gone on to play triumphant festival sets at Yours & Owls Fest & Spin Off 2023, adorn industry backing at Bigsound 2023, open for Teen Jesus & the Jean Teasers on their mammoth national run and routinely selling out hometown shows in Adelaide, South Australia. This run of wins saw Empties win Best Live Act (SA) at the National Live Music Awards and win Best New Act & Best New Song at the South Australian Music Awards.

After stacking all the above to close 2023, they began 2024 by being invited to the renowned Camp A LOW HUM near Wellington, New Zealand. Marking their first ever international performances, Camp saw them play four shows over two weekends and win over a legion of adoring fans on Aotearoa & connect with an amazing community of fellow performers.

The Empty Threats - your favourite Australian band's favourite live band, on tour in the UK & Europe in May and June 2024."
