Colatura aus New York bzw. Pittsburgh sind ein Dreampop-Duo, das auf der Bühne als vierköpfige Band spielt. Ihr für 2023 im Hafen 2 angekündigtes Konzert fiel damals der Absage der Tournee zum Opfer; umso mehr freuen wir uns, dasses nun endlich klappt - Hafen-Debüt für Colatura, und wir würden uns freuen, wenn ihr zahlreich erscheint, denn wir vermuten, es wird ein großartiges Konzert.



Brooklyn-based Colatura writes music that is sometimes dreamy, sometimes heavy, with pop-leaning melodies, post-punk atmospherics, and surf-tinged guitars. With multiple lead vocalists, they have been called “Fleetwood Mac with Shoegaze Guitars,” and the intermix of vocals, alongside jangly guitars and melodic bass lines, is the cornerstone of their sound.



Colatura writes music that is sometimes dreamy, sometimes heavy, with pop-leaning melodies and fuzzy guitars. A staple in the Brooklyn scene, who relocated to Pittsburgh earlier this year, Colatura was named a “band we like” by tastemaker OhMyRockness.com and described live as “like sunshine streaming out of an amplifier with its volume set at nine”. Colatura performed at SXSW '24, as part of the Space Agency Booking showcase at Hotel Vegas, and at the Women That Rock showcase, presented by Austin Monthly. They have been official artists at SXSW, NXNE, New Colossus Festival, Seattle’s Capitol Hill Block Party.  Colatura has shared a stage with bands such as Slow Pulp, Nation of Language, Hinds, Toledo, Pom Pom Squad, Thao, Sea Lemon, Been Stellar, Chokecherry and Jessica Lea Mayfield, among many others.  In 2022, Colatura released their debut album, ‘And Then I’ll Be Happy,' which they supported with a sold out release show at The Sultan Room in Brooklyn and with two US tours. In 2024 they released 'Suffer Dude,' and 'Do You Miss Her,' an A/B side produced by Aron Kobayashi Ritch of Momma.  Colatura has received praise from outlets such as Consequence, Brooklyn Vegan, Under The Radar, Austin Town Hall, and Atwood, has been featured on Spotify editorial playlists such as All New Rock and on the cover of the Pandora AMP: Fresh Cuts station.  They have received rotation on radio stations such as KEXP,  DKFM, and were recently the artist of the week on WFUV and WYEP. Colatura recently signed with Easy Does It Records and will be touring and releasing new music in 2025.
