Cheese, wine, knowledge: in our guided tastings, producers and experts tell the stories behind the cheese.
This time:
What could be better than a cosy get-together with Brandenburg cheese and Berlin spirits on the table, delving deep into the history and philosophy of liqueur and cheese? Exactly! Nothing!
At this convivial gathering, artisan Brandenburg cheeses from Yule and Paul (Urstromkäse) meet fine liqueurs and spirits from MXPSM – Michelberger x Preußische Spirituosen Manufaktur.
British cheese philosopher Ned Palmer guides us on an intoxicating journey of discovery between cheese and distillate. The focus is on six types of cheese – including a special collaboration: Urstrom's Mulberry, washed with quince and sour cherry brandy, inspired by the legendary Epoisses. This will be accompanied by a tasting of selected spirits that reveal surprising flavour combinations – from fruity and floral to complex and spicy.
Instead of dry theory, there will be a lively exchange in which you can try, combine and discuss together. An evening about taste, craftsmanship and the joy of experimentation – humorous, interactive and guaranteed to be insightful.
