LOVE'N'JOY (Kyiv)
Love’n’Joy - An Odyssey Through Change and New Beginnings After years of restless touring across Europe, supporting Ukraine, navigating migration, and embracing changes in the band’s lineup, Love’n’Joy return with a new album shaped by everything they have experienced along the way.
The new LP will be presented live on November 12 at Berghain Kantine in Berlin, marking a new chapter for the Ukrainian indie-rock band.
Stories from the road, experiences of displacement, endless concerts and charity campaigns across Europe all come together in one musical work — a reflection of a life lived between places, constant movement, and the search for a sense of home.
“In a way, this album is an odyssey for Love’n’Joy. We went on tour, but never came back. We lost part of our crew and found new members along the way. We met our sirens, faced storms and countless obstacles, and kept moving. The journey is still unfolding. We continue to put our faith in our music and share what we’ve lived through with our audience.”
Opening Act: RASCO
Named after Charlie Megira’s hit song “At the Rasco”, and influenced by The Cramps, Beach Boys, Elvis and many more, Rasco blend the raw spirit of 1970s surf and garage rock with dreamy harmonies, psychedelic textures, and subtle Middle Eastern influences.
Their unique sound was quickly noticed by psychedelic rock legends Altın Gün who invited the band to open for them as well as Seattle Radio station KEXP who selected their second album Dmaot as one of the best albums of 2024.
Having now relocated to Berlin, the band release their 3rd album “Feeling O” on Anova Records, also home to indie pop band Lola Marsh. After exciting audiences at Fusion Festival, C/O Pop, Reeperbahn Festival and Popkultur, the trio pairs their 70s psychedelic sound with more upfront lyrics on their last release.
