About the event

You are invited to explore the Feminine & Masculine energies within classical piano pieces, as performed by the young Georgian Alexandre Shubitidze. Diving into a theme that is not much discussed within the classical world, his desire is to highlight the different genered energies within pieces such as  Beethoven's Op. 111, Chopin's Etude Op. 25 No. 7, Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No. 12 and Prokofiev's Toccata Op. 11.

During the performance, genderless “Creatures” made of glass, created by Samantha Tiussi, will be rising from the stage to explore a visual and deeper meaning to the concept presented by Alexandre.

More about Samantha and “Creatures”
Samantha, a Berlin-based Brazilian artist, invites us to enter her personal universe. Her artistic practice is rooted on her synesthetic perceptions, allowing her to visualize sounds as forms and spaces. She is autistic, which gives her a special perception about the world, in which she delves into both for self-discovery and healing.

"Creatures" is an immersive multisensorial performance that explores sound, movement, and glass, manifesting in the form of glass creatures that inhabit a dream-like world. Born from the rich and multi- layered soundscapes of glass, these creatures encapsulate the constant tension and balance between two opposing forces within us.
