Nach einigen Jahren zurück in den Hafen 2 kommt die belgische Band River Into Lake mit dem im Februar erschienen Album „Rise & Shine“. Die dritte Veröffentlichung des Musikers Boris Gronemberger ist ein tiefer Blick in die zeitgeistige Welt des Avant-Pop und gleichzeitig eine innovative Wiederauferstehung der Gitarre, die er geschickt manipuliert, um die Grenzen zum Synthesizer zu verwischen, was zu einer einzigartigen Mischung aus akustischen und artifiziellen Sounds führt. Gronembergers Musik schlägt die Brücke zwischen orchestralem Pop und jazzigen Songstrukturen und fesselt mit meisterhaft mit Klanglandschaften zwischen Unschärfe und Poesie. River Into Lake ist auf dieser Tour eine Band aus vier Personen.
Boris Gronemberger has been a part of several successful Belgian acts such as Girls In Hawaii, Françoiz Breut or Chantal Acda and continues to perform live alongside Blondy Brownie and Castus. Formerly known as V.O. and releasing three albums, he unveiled his first tracks under the name River Into Lake in 2019. With this solo project, he released the album "Let the Beast Out" and the EP "The Crossing", performed in Belgium and Germany, and opened for Agnes Obel during her latest European tour. Boris is also highly active in composing music for theater, with productions that tour worldwide.
