New live album from Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, recorded January 2020
"Im Januar 2020 haben wir in der Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg die letzte „normale“ Show (ohne Hygienebestimmungen) gespielt. Es war ein sehr besonderer Abend, für den wir zwei Monate vorbereitet und geprobt haben. Auf der Bühne mit uns waren die BERLIN STRINGS, der Bassklarinettist und Gitarrist Aidan Floatinghome und der Vibraphonist Franz Bauer. Die Idee war, etwas komplett neues für diesen Abend zu kreieren.
Arrangiert wurde das Konzert von unserem guten Freund Gunther Papperitz. Wir haben den ganzen Abend aufgenommen und jetzt kommen die News! Es wird eine sehr besondere Limited Edition der Highlights des Konzerts auf Vinyl geben! Falk Schwalbe hat ein wunderschönes Artwork entworfen! Falk wird alle Verpackungen der Platte und das Etikett auf der Vinylscheibe von Hand bedrucken, was bedeutet, dass jede Ausgabe ein einzigartiges Produkt ist. Es werden nur 500 Stück hergestellt werden. Veröffentlicht wird das Ganze im Mai 2021, ein Jahr nach unserem
Album THE CURRENT.

"In January 2020, we played the last “regular“ show (without safety and hygiene regulations) at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. It was a very special night, for which we worked and created two months beforehand. We had the BERLIN STRINGS with us on stage, the bass clarinetist / guitarist Aidan Floatinghome and the vibraphonist Franz Bauer. The whole idea was to create something completely new for this evening. The music was arranged by our dear friend Gunter Papperitz. We recorded the whole evening and now we can finally tell you the news!
There will be a very special limited edition of concert highlights on vinyl! Falk Schwalbe created (once again) an amazing artwork and the whole package is just beautiful. Falk will also hand print the artwork onto the vinyl sleeve, including hole in the centre of the sleeve allows you to see through to the hand printed vinyl label meaning that each one will be truly unique. The record will also include a sheet with photos and credits from the night itself. This record will be limited to only 500 copies and will be released in May 2021, one year after the release of THE CURRENT
