Destiny Tourbooking, JuHa West & No Shows presents:
Slaughterhouse emerged from the South Bay of Los Angeles in late 2017 and hit the ground running with local and out-of-state shows, and an EP that would define their punk and death rock sound.
They have continued to build their name playing energetic live shows with songs from their debut LP, Fun Factory; out as a split release on Todd Congelliere of F.Y.P’s label Recess Records, and Water Under the Bridge Records. They’ve shared stages with the likes of Pennywise, Social Distortion, Adolescents, Dead Kennedys, and Alkaline Trio. In 2022 they toured with Bad Religion and played sold out shows with Amyl & The Sniffers, and Destroy Boys, with no signs of slowing down. In 2023 Slaughterhouse started the year supporting Joyce Manor at Long Beach Arena, then in May hit the road for a month-long US tour with UK pals, Grade 2, and finished the tour with a Punk Rock Bowling club show with Alice Bag. In 2024 Slaughterhouse has been touring various US states, and just recently completed their first tour in Europe. With the future holding a 5 song EP being released early 2025 on Pirates Press Records, a month long tour with Flogging Molly, and a return to Europe this summer, 2025 will surely be a big one for this up and coming band.
With Meriel O’Connell on vocals, Eddie Cairns on bass, Taylor Ramirez on guitar, and Nick Aguilar on drums, the band recently released their new single, Poison, which was featured on BBC1 Radio Rock Show, followed shortly by another single, State of Emergency, which was recorded and produced by Carlos de la Garza, and are currently working on a new album.
HOON: From organising their own mini festival’s and touring nationally and internationally, to playing in alleyways and in front of churches; Hoon have developed a chaotic neutral between composure and compulsion. With their overly-animated live shows punctuated by relentless punk-dynamics and uncompromising on-stage energy, Hoon are a band who frequently skirt the line between the maniacal and total mayhem, with a punk-rock attitude to match.
Leaving no stone unturned, their debut studio album ‘Australian Dream’ captures this live performance energy synchronised with their chaotic song writing on record for the first time, deliberating life in modern Australia over 11 intense tracks. Produced at The Brain Studios Sydney with Clayton Segelov, sonically the record ricochets between the crucial sounds of ‘90s rock pioneers, to surf punk thrillers and dynamic five-minute progressive ballads with hints of psychedelia and sludge metal.Their style has evolved to a true-blue garage punk sound that pays homage to their predecessors - all while remaining distinctly contemporary. Signposted lyrically with equal parts sociological commentary to Australian political critique, Hoon holds a mirror to their country with a laugh and a beer.
