MERMAID MAN

Mermaid Man is Robin Heller's artist identity developed during the pandemic in times of global uncertainty. After years of activity with Sir Robin & The Longbowmen, the brand new project revolves around the idea of reinvention and self-discovery and is the artistic response to this introspection - a creative escape that connects the old with the new.

The fusion of different genres such as Psychedelic Garage, Wave and Soul that can be heard on the debut album "Let's Dance To The End Of The World” is a conscious decision to break away from traditional boundaries and reflects the complexity of modern life - chaotic yet harmonious, familiar yet alien.

Mermaid Man's sound is eclectic, with an emphasis on blending retro influences with modern styles. The music is characterised by groovy bass lines, crunchy guitars and vintage synthesizers and upbeat and moody atmospheres, creating a multi-layered sonic experience.

The album was well received by the media within Germany and abroad and aired on renown radio stations like RadioEINS, ByteFM, Polskie Radio, ALT Radio UK/US and featured in many playlists on all streaming platforms.

After numerous concerts in Europe in support of the debut release in 2024, the band is planning further tours and festivals in 2025, including in the USA.

Catalyst, the dynamic duo from St. Gallen, is redefining the classic rock format with explosive energy and a unique blend of clever riffs, gripping storytelling, and a dash of irony. Dominic Curseri and Ramon Wehrle craft a soundscape where nostalgic vibes meet fresh, bold creativity, making every performance an electrifying experience.
